CVMF mobilizes Connecticut’s veterinarians in service of animal and public health in our State.  The Foundation has two main programs supported by veterinarians: disaster preparedness and response and sheltering the pets of domestic violence victims.  We are also working to open a low-cost, non profit clinic that treats the pets of low-income individuals and families.

All of our work is in the service of animal welfare and public health – creating a safety net so that pets do not suffer.   Our costs are funded by donations from individuals and the veterinary industry, including CVMA.
